Treatment for patients with ENT conditions that can be safely managed in the community.

This service is designed to ensure low acuity presentations to Taranaki Base Hospital are actively redirected back to primary care.

Treatment of children (<15yrs) presenting with a fever of >38 C with intermediate risk/amber symptoms or signs that can be safely managed in the community.

Treatment of ingested metal foreign body in children with no red flags.

Administration of IV adenosine treatment for patients with rapid palpitations and a systolic BP >100 that can be safely managed in primary care.
